The COVID-19 pandemic has taken the phrase “Netflix & Chill” to a whole new level. Luckily, Netflix has expanded their catalogue of Filipino content to fans worldwide. I have come up with my Top 10 Filipino Movies to watch on Netflix:

  1. No Other Woman
  2. My Ex and Whys
  3. The Day After Valentines
  4. Imagine You and Me
  5. Barcelona
  6. Seven Sunday’s
  7. A Love Story
  8. The Love Affair
  9. Between Maybes
  10. Alone Together

If you live here in Germany or in another non-English speaking country, there’s a little trick that gives you access to other libraries so you’ll have access to Tagalog movies on Netflix regardless of where you live. All you need to do is log into your Netflix account and switch your settings from let’s say “Deutsch” (German) to “English”. Once you have successfully switched the language, go back to the main menu, log out log back in. Now you should be able to watch Tagalog movies in Germany with your Netflix account (just search for Tagalog movies)

As most of you guys know, we Filipinos love to get kilig and that’s why the Filipino entertainment industry is filled with romantic love stories. Personally speaking, I enjoy watching those romantic movies because Filipino actors just have really convincing and good chemistry. They just know how to convey true and heartfelt emotions.
